My stay at Hotel La Sierra was pleasant overall. the location was a highlight, allowing me to explore the central part of Santa Cruz easily. The hotel was clean and budget-friendly, ideal for a group. However, the breakfast options were quite limited, and I faced a frustrating issue with taxi payments at checkout that marred my experience a bit.

My stay at Hotel La Sierra had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the central part of the city, which I loved. However, I found the breakfast lacking and the check-out experience to be frustrating, leading to an unnecessary run-in with a taxi driver and even the police. Overall, it was decent but definitely not worth the price I paid.
